The Free City-States of Tres are located on the eastern and southern coastline of Can Bay. The region is separated from surrounding kingdoms by swamp land to the west and mountains to the east. The lands of Tres are comprised of open grasslands with rolling hills and evergreen forests.

The lands of Tres consist mostly of plains and hills. The three major territories are the Shadow Plains, the Dancing Plains, and the Golden Hills. One major forest lies in the east, Oaken Wood. The west borders the Wraith Marsh and the east by the Trevista Peaks.

Climate

The kingdom is located on the northwest coast of Ballidrous. The region has an oceanic climate and semi-arid steppe. Summer is dry but the other seasons have regular cycles of precipitation. The temperature is cooler than the predominate northern averages and ranges from highs 75 - degrees F in the summer to lows 20 - degrees F in the winter.
